I was really happy to get into this show even after it was sold out when someone graciously gave me their extra ticket for my last twenty bucks. Watching videos of them performing during their original run, I was really impressed to see how much it looked like the show that we saw at Webster Hall. Really really great.

I would've been severely disappointed if I saw the Williamsburg show instead of the one I got. I would've been really crushed to not get to see them play "Let the Loser Melt," "Strangled by the Stereo Wire" and "Step Into the Light." Those are big deal songs for me. I think that Vee Vee is by far their finest album.

I checked out some recent AoL setlists, and those of us at Webster Hall audience got a really, really good draw. It was interesting how much Vee Vee was not emphasized and how much Airports was emphasized. In other shows they've played "Vocal Shrapnel" and "Worst Defense," too. Since I've always felt that Vee Vee is their 4th-best release (if you include the immortal EP), I found this satisfying.

I checked out some recent AoL setlists, and those of us at Webster Hall audience got a really, really good draw. It was interesting how much Vee Vee was not emphasized and how much Airports was emphasized. In other shows they’ve played “Vocal Shrapnel” and “Worst Defense,” too. Since I’ve always felt that Vee Vee is their 4th-best release (if you include the immortal EP), I found this satisfying.
