man I totally know what you mean about the word friend! I was trying to explain some relationship and I was like “I totally hate them, but I guess they’re my friend…” and I realized how denuded of meaning the word is. The whole album is beautifully bittersweet. I’m a huge fan of Bradford Cox, but Iike that we see a lot more of everyone else in this album. Definitely one of the best this year.
