FLUXBLOG STILL NEEDS YOUR HELP!

In case you needed reminding, Fluxblog is still in pledge drive mode. Details about why I’m doing this right now can be found here, but long story short, I’m going through a very rough period financially and I’d be grateful for any help you can provide. You have two options — you can either donate whatever amount of money you’d like via PayPal, or you can purchase one of two t-shirt designs on sale here. Those shirts, designed by Ryan Catbird and John Cei Douglas respectively, will only be on sale for another week or so, and then I’m putting in the orders. If you want a t-shirt, you should get on that now! Again, thank you sooooooo much for you help. It means a lot.

    The paypal links do not seem to work for me. They give me an error page with this text:

    “Sorry — your last action could not be completed
    If you were making a purchase or sending money, we recommend that you check both your PayPal account and your email for a transaction confirmation after 30 minutes.
    If you came to this page from another website, please return to that site (don’t use your browser’s Back button) and restart your activity.
    If you came from PayPal’s website, click the PayPal logo in the upper-left corner to return to our home page and restart your activity. You might have to log in again”

    Yep. I tried both. I also tried with both firefox and iexplorer. I will try again tomorrow from my work’s computer. is there a way to find you in paypal using their search form instead of using the direct link?

    It might be a problem on your end — I can definitely get to the site via the links, and other people have donated in the past few days. Keep trying, I guess! I’m sorry. Thanks for trying, David!

    Hey Matthew,

    I’m still getting that error, too. FF3 and Safari, logged in or out. Maybe you can just tell us which email is associated with that PayPal account? Then folks can send funds that way :)

    Thanks for all the good music. Esp likes the comdey/WFMU bits. You’re a blessing, man, to all people who visit the site and download your stuff. You raise our music (and pop culture) IQ and tastes!

    This is the first time I’m “donating” to somebody I don’;t even know over the Internet (not counting my 1 pound sterling download of Radiohead’s “In Rainbows”…m such a cheapskate :0\ ) Here’s hoping your finances get sorted out so the good music will continue flowing our way.

    BTW, I came across Fluxblog around 2005 ? I forget but I saw your site name-dropped in a SPIN issue, in an article about VLOGging (blogging + MP3 music posting).
