The TLU song's a few years old now & I know the band had some trouble getting clearance for the sample. Reportedly, Vini Reilly himself really liked it quite a bit (I know the Andy, the singer, who mentioned this story in passing), but the publishing company (or some such corporate entity) wanted money for its use.
