Well, I was just referring to the way the songs have a similar sound, not the way a song would connect personally (like It's The End of the World does with REM fans).

I don't think I can really answer that. I can't say I listen to the band all that much and I kinda just focus on the two or three songs per record that I like. I like and respect TV on the Radio, but I'm not yet a fan, mostly because I dislike Sitek's production, it's too airless for my taste.

Oh, I don't care for "Family Tree." The melody sounds too much like a mediocre Coldplay tune for my taste. I like "Crying" and "Golden Age," and the rest haven't left much of an impression on me. When it comes to TV on the Radio, I kinda have to contend with my dislike of Sitek's production style, which tends to flatten out very dynamic songs.

Dear Science is great but I actually think "Golden Age" is one of the weaker tracks. I prefer "Family Tree" or "Dancing Choose." Have you seen the new video? one of those band-trapped-in-modern-art deals, like the "Take Me Out" video.
