ok, i like a lot of bands which many might consider "cheesy."
so my "cheese" detector is out of batteries for good.
but i listen to the new PM album and wonder how those "cheese sucks" listeners (i.e. nme.com, brit-sound apologists etc.) dig this album.
seriously has some of the worst lyrics i've ever heard.
i don't mind the album, but i'm the kind who doesn't mind stuff like this. sometimes.

but zombie man!?

As a rule, if you have a record that is just 30 second loops and it is not an artist who regularly does stuff like, you don't have the real thing. That is a standard anti-piracy move.

Still trying to figure this album out. I downloaded it yesterday and am wondering if I even have the real thing (it's not being released in the states). Half the tracks play like the same 30 seconds of music looped 7 or 8 times over, with no discernible changes whatsoever. It's kind of lazy. The album as a whole is very repetitive -- it just feels unfinished to me.

Still, it's definitely a marked improvement over RCB, but in the context of their overall work, I'd put it somewhere in the middle. This song, the first single especially, and a few others are pretty strong.
