“Drunk and Hot Girls” — the darkside of chasing skirts. Reminds me of “Addiction” from LR.
“Flashing Lights” — “Feeling like Katrina with no FEMA, like Martin with no Gina . . . Come on, you can’t roam without Caesar.”
“Can’t Tell Me Nothing” — The trouble with fame, new money. He’s still trying to “get his money right.”
I would say a lot of these songs are pretty dark, and not all celebatory. Hell, even “Homecoming” talks about hometown haters looking at the boy-done-well sideways.
