i think 'glitch' comes from some experimental, sound artist types who began intentionally defacing cds, creating glitches when they were played.

I was googling around looking for something else, and I stumbled upon a playlist that included that song along with some other things that I already knew and liked, and so I looked it up on soulseek.

Helen! Yes it is! Email's down on the bottom - fluxequalsrad @ hotmail.com! I lost your phone number ages ago and I'm very glad to hear from you!

Steve, the mp3s are hosted on a friend's free mac server account. I'm not clear on what the situation with that is, but we've been hosting mp3s and photos off of it for nearly two years now, and we've never had a problem. I have no clue how you go about getting one of these accounts, though.

I wanted to first tell you how much I enjoy the blog. Fantastic stuff.

Secondly, I was curious how you were having these .mp3s hosted. Are you having a site host them and you're just linking to them?

Thanks!

Oh, I appreciate the lo-fi charms of the recording - the ambient sounds in the room really give the recording a special character that I enjoy. Still, I am aware that it's intended to be a demo, and I'm approaching it as such. If it was released as a record just like this, it would be fine by me.
